The New Ingo Maurer and Moroso partnership

Moroso Top Furniture India

Moroso is announcing the first stage in a new partnership with the iconic lighting brand, Ingo Maurer. The two brands have always had in common a strong sense of planning and design, aesthetics and a transverse approach to research which goes beyond the object itself to create products that have become furnishing and design archetypes in their own right. For the first time, these archetypes will be appearing side by side.
During the BAU trade fair for architecture and building materials, held in Munich from 14 to 19 January 2019, Moroso products will be exhibited in the installation housed inside the Ingo Maurer showroom at 47 Kaiserstrasse, in the Schwabing district of Munich.

Diesel to build first branded apartment complex

Diesel is getting into the residential real estate business.

luxury brands

The Italian denim giant has linked up with Bel Invest Group to build its first residential Diesel building, in Miami, Florida.

Diesel thus joins an elite group of fashion and luxury brands that have created significant branded buildings; including Versace, Stella McCartney, Bulgari and, most notably, Giorgio Armani, who boasts dual-use residential/hotel Armani Casa towers in multiple countries.

Diesel’s edifice will be constructed in the entertainment district of Wynwood, and feature 143 Diesel Living-designed residential units, as well as approximately 24,000 square feet of street-level retail space.

Its loft-style design is created to fit the pedestrian-friendly Wynwood district, a dynamic neighborhood noted for its Wynwood walls, where former factories are turned into works of art. It will be just south of the happening Miami Design District with its constellation of luxury stores.

Diesel’s building is being designed by Zyschovich Architects, and will be decorated with products and designs from Diesel Living, where the fashion brand has linked up with Italian suppliers like Seletti, with its industrial punk accessories, Foscarini, for rock pop metal furniture, and Iris, for technical brutalist ceramics.

“Diesel Living is the first true concept of modern living by a fashion brand. It reflects the lifestyle of today’s young generations… their ‘social’ way of interpreting their residences, spaces where they live, work, entertain friends,” said Renzo Rosso, founder of Diesel.

Diesel Living’s new Collection @ Downtown Design 2018

Meet us at Downtown Design Dubai – Booth C18

(13-16 November 2018)

Diesel Living — a shot of personality for homes and interiors with Diesel’s distinctively freewheeling approach to design. Unexpected and ironic influences shape a world where classic and experimental styles pair up to create something entirely new.

An unbounded exploration of iconography reflects the Diesel landscape: a mix of industrial styles, dark and adrenalized rock & roll spirit and the bright-toned, mischievous glee of pop. The vintage spirit shines, and aesthetic clashes add luster; textures and surfaces hold surprises, and furniture and objects communicate the racy and provocative spirit of Diesel.

Collaborations with Italy’s most illustrious producers of furniture, lighting, objects, kitchens and bathrooms, floor and wall coverings, and home textiles blend the singular message of Diesel Living with the top fabrication of the best of Made in Italy.

Diesel Living — a collection for successful living.

Moroso and Diesel have created a indoor and outdoor furniture collection with a relaxed and comfortable mood, taking the inspiration from an informal lifestyle concept and targeting consumers who like simple shapes yet at the same time seek a “modern” style, made up of high quality combined with a distinctive design of pure lines. Here, vintage and mechanical references combine to create clashing vocabularies and a new aesthetic.

The Diesel Living with Foscarini collection speaks a variety of different languages – from rock to pop, industrial design and vintage, from graphics to art – to illustrate the unmistakable Diesel lifestyle. Ironic, eclectic, incandescent, the collection includes over 40 different lamp models and is conveyed in various forms, materials and intended uses. It’s a collection that speaks a multitude of languages, tells different stories and expresses an unmistakable style: the Diesel lifestyle.

Diesel’s style and know-how join forces with Scavolini’s know-how to create a new concept kitchen. A kitchen that becomes a complete environment, where the pleasure of cooking naturally combines with the pleasure of spending time with friends. A kitchen for social life, a space that expands intelligently and conveniently. In 2015, Diesel and Scavolini present the new Open Workshop kitchen and bathroom, where design meets informality with impeccable balance.

Diesel and Seletti collaborate on an ironic and eclectic home accessories line. With Seletti, the Italian brand globally known for its satirically revolutionary designs, Diesel Living explores the art of the table and objects of decoration — while turning the tradition of collectible items on its head as only these two brands know how.

In 2015 Diesel introduces wooden flooring, the first material collection from Diesel Living, partnering up with the Italian brand Berti. With the expert know-how of Berti, Diesel Living offers a series of distinctive wooden flooring options, the result of research and innovation into the transformation and treatment of wood, where unique finishes and designs create floors that are 100% Diesel.

In 2016 Diesel Living adds another category for floor and wall coverings: ceramic tiles. After associations which have brought items of furniture that have become real lifestyle icons into homes over the world, Diesel Living has now come together with Iris Ceramica and its great, powerful yet eclectic ceramic tiles. The collection brings surprising plays of patterns and contrasts to flooring. Surface finishes run from heavy cement to absolute lightness, offering a range of design ideas for richly contemporary homes.

In collaboration with Mirabello Carrara, Diesel Living introduces a collection of bedding with a hard-edged appeal, where rock & roll, vintage, and industrial styles combine with the soft coziness of home linens. Diesel Living Home Linen conjure the brand’s urban aesthetic, with its touch of irony, in cotton jacquards and percales, with full sheet sets, duvets, comforters, blankets, throw pillows, and robes.
